What Tangent is

Tangent is a browser extension that displays your ChatGPT conversations as a spatial map and adds branching tools. It is an independent product, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI.

Your account and subscription

• You need an account (via Clerk) and an active subscription or trial to use Tangent. Plans and pricing are shown at checkout; payment is processed by Creem, our merchant of record. Their terms apply to the payment itself.
• The 14-day trial requires a card and converts to a paid subscription unless canceled before the trial ends. Cancel anytime; access runs to the end of the paid period.
• Refunds: see the refund policy.

Fair dealing

• Don't reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute the extension or its services.
• One subscription = one person. Don't share accounts.
• We may suspend accounts for abuse (fraud, chargeback abuse, attacking the service).

The honest caveats

• Tangent works by reading what ChatGPT's website sends your browser. If ChatGPT changes their site, parts of Tangent can break until we ship a fix. We monitor for this and usually fix it quickly (and we show a status banner in the extension when something is known-broken). Extended breakage is covered by the refund policy, not by uptime guarantees.
• The service is provided "as is", without warranties; our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited (e.g. for intent or gross negligence), and your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the extension or by email at least 14 days in advance. Continued use after that is acceptance.

Who you're dealing with

Tangent is operated by Ozan Demirezen (Denmark), trading as Tangent. These terms are governed by Danish law; mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply where they are more favorable. Contact: support@addtangent.com
